Rhiannon Apple,
Senior Account Executive,
Moxie Interactive
Rhiannon Apple has been an integral part of Moxie for nearly 3 years. Apple started out in the client services department working on the Verizon Wireless account concentrating on the in-retail digital signage, but soon thereafter she started using her expertise to begin expanding digital signage to other accounts within Moxie. Today, she helps to drive strategy around digital signage, both out-of-home and in-retail within existing and new business accounts. She works with Media, Creative, Technology and Account Services to facilitate expansion of digital signage capabilities.
Originally from Mishawaka, Indiana, Apple graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Communications, concentration in Advertising in 2004. Before joining the Moxie team, Apple worked in advertising sales for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, moving on to a marketing representative position for Nokia, where she got her first taste of digital signage.
Apple currently lives in Atlanta with her husband.

Don Berardini,

Don has more than 25 years of experience in media sales, advertising and strategic marketing in diverse consumer product categories. Don is passionate about the digital out of home space and his creative thinking has brought many new advertisers to the space. He is a team leader and a consensus builder. Don has worked on a number of sports marketing initiatives and is currently on the Chicago Board of the National Sports Marketing Network.
Prior to joining Onsite Network, Don was vice president of sales for Sporting News Radio, a 24/7 national sports radio network. He negotiated media and sponsorship sales with some of the country’s largest advertisers. He also created cross platform programs with the digital and magazine divisions of Sporting News.
As marketing, promotions and business development executive for CBS, he sold television inventory and created marketing campaigns for new clients.
Before embarking on a media sales career, Don held senior management positions at several nationally known Chicago ad agencies, including his own firm. He also managed a $500 million national cable TV, spot TV and spot radio budget for Sears. Prior to his work with Sears, Don had been the senior account person on the Midas International account at Wells, Rich, Greene/BDDP and the senior account person on the Old Style beer account at Young & Rubicam and Campbell Mithun.

Tom Campbell,

Tom leads and manages the digital signage networks for Healthy Advice Networks LLC and is accountable for delivering meaningful results for clients, patients, and practices in the healthcare vertical. With more than 6,500 digital signage locations across the U.S., Healthy Advice is one of the nation’s leading providers of patient education to consumers while they wait to see their doctors. He also leads the development of Healthy Advice’s newest and most promising digital signage business, PracticeWire—the first back-office digital signage program targeted to doctors and their staffs.
Prior to joining Healthy Advice, Tom developed, sold, and managed loyalty programs for Frequency Marketing, Inc., now part of Alliance Data Systems. He also managed and sold place-based media, the predecessor of digital signage, for Whittle Communications. Tom is a graduate of Harvard College.

Bill Collins is principal of DecisionPoint Media Insights. DecisionPoint produces custom audience research for Digital Signage and Kiosk networks. It also provides B2B go-to-market strategy consulting for companies that market B2B products and services to the Digital Signage and Kiosk industries.
Collins has played a leading role in the development of the Digital Signage industry by:
• Founding (in 2002) and publishing the Narrowcasting News from Bill Collins newsletter, the world's first periodical publication of any kind to provide news and analysis on the Digital Signage market, and
• Organizing and chairing the founding meeting of the Out-of-Home Video Advertising Bureau (OVAB) in January 2006 in Las Vegas.

Michael Hoffberg,

Michael has close to 40 years experience in higher education media/technology management, consulting, production and teaching at various institutions, including City University of NY, New York University, University of California, Los Angeles, California State University, Northridge, and Villanova University, as well as an MA in Educational Technology.
Michael is in his 15th year at Villanova, where he has directed a comprehensive media technologies department, which has included the design and development of multimedia classrooms, coordination and integration of IT infrastructure, utilization and implementation for large venue special events, building construction and renovations, and the development and expansion of a digital signage network.

Since coming to Catapult, Jason has focused on emerging media and launched two new disciplines – Digital Shopper Marketing and Catapult Mobile Marketing.

With a Master’s Degree in Applied Computer Science and 20+ years of experience in higher education information technology, Thomas Kunka has excelled at bringing disparate disciplines and new technologies together into effective solutions that meet the unique and diverse needs of large university environments.
As Coordinator of Network Systems and Operations at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Thomas is currently responsible for campus-wide digital signage and CCTV initiatives which promise to bring both of these outlying technologies into the mainstream of campus information technology services. Even in its early stages of deployment, the digital signage initiative has shown much success in engaging and unifying the campus community in a common standard, a shared service model and a new spirit of collaboration.

Kim Luegers,

Kim currently leads the charge in evangelizing and executing innovative emerging solutions for DFCB Chicago’s MC Media. Her strategic vision and energetic communication skills are put to the test when selling emerging platform ideas to her MillerCoors clients. Her most recent work includes stewardship of Coors Light’s NFL Draft and NASCAR mobile alert campaigns. Prior to being selected to head up DFCB’s Emerging Media practice in 2007, Kim worked in the traditional planning/buying side of media for various clients such as Jim Beam, Barilla Pasta, Equal Sweetener, and Quaker, SC Johnson and Taco Bell. Kim is a proud alum of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

Bryan Meszaros,

From his experience as a creative designer and animator Bryan has always had a passion for digital media. From the beginning of his career Bryan has been involved in developing innovative retail media solutions. His understanding on how digital media would change the outlook for traditional advertising has kept him in at the forefront of this young industry.
His first introduction into Digital Signage came in 2000 while working with MarketSource Corporation in developing the nations first university based digital signage network called Campus Central. As Director of Operations for the division, Bryan was instrumental in its growth into 75 of the nations top 100 universities and generating media revenue of upwards to 3 million dollars. In addition Bryan also helped to develop digital media programs for Hershey’s, Honda Corp., Hollywood.com and Proctor & Gamble.
After leaving MarketSource in 2002 Bryan went on to form the retail media strategy firm OpenEye where he presently servers as the companies Director of Strategy and Development. From the start OpenEye experienced global success having worked with such groups as FITCH, Banco Santander, The Nuance Group and HESS Corporation. In 2008 OpenEye was instrumental in developing a digital wayfinding application for the Smithsonian Institution Natural Museum of Natural History. The project has been recognized throughout industry having been awarded a 2008 DIGI Award as well as receiving a 2009 MUSE Award from the American Association of Museums.

Bill Myers,

In 2006, Mr. Myers co-founded indoorDIRECT, The Restaurant Television Network. His expertise includes marketing strategy, web strategy, technology, and film/video production. He has worked with his partners at indoorDIRECT to design and install an internet-based network that reaches millions of viewers across the U.S. in restaurants like McDondald's, Wendy's, Arby's, Carl's Jr, Hardee's, Denny's, Taco Bell, and many other restaurant chains. In addition to designing and deploying the network’s infrastructure, Myers is the creator and executive producer of theBITE, WeekendBITE, and theBITE@Nite. Each show is a hosted mix of “bite-size” entertainment, music, sports and events influencing popular culture that provides relevant ad placement and integration opportunities for advertisers.
Prior to indoorDIRECT, Myers worked for The Richard’s Group as a researcher and UI designer, worked as an IT consultant, and founded a boutique design and consulting firm. In addition to his professional experience, Myers dedicated many hours to non-profit organizations in the education, health, and energy sectors.
He has Master’s Degree in Asian Studies from the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies.

Pierre Richer,

Pierre Richer is President and COO of NEC Display Solutions, Inc. Pierre leads the overall company strategy. He is responsible for the development and growth of the full line of display technology including projectors, large format LCD, and monitors. In his role, he continuously drives the company’s transition to a Solutions provider.
Previously, Pierre ran NEC Visual Systems Division as Senior Vice President and General Manager. Pierre developed the business strategy for the Americas. He was responsible for growing the projector business unit including DLP and LCD-based mobile, installed and large venue projection systems, as well as plasma displays.
Prior to NEC, Pierre spent almost a decade at InFocus Corporation in roles of increasing responsibility..
He also held sales management positions at Canon Canada.

John Ross,

IPG Emerging Media Lab
As President of the IPG Emerging Media Lab, John is leading the growth of Lab operations while developing Mediabrands capabilities in the retail marketing arena. Formerly VP of Advertising and Marketing at Home Depot, Inc. John oversaw one of the largest expansions of any American brand. During his 12 year tenure, the company grew from a regional retailer to become one of the best know brands in all of retail and the second largest retailer in the United States. He oversaw the company's first foray into E-Commerce, its international expansion, including entry into Mexico and China, and the growth of the Home Depot Incentives division.
John holds an MBA from Tulane University's Freeman School of Business, and is a graduate of the Executive Advanced Leadership Program at Atlanta's Emory School of Business. He has also been an adjunct instructor with several national business schools.
John was given the Marketing Exemplary Service Award by NNPA in 2008, inducted into the Gold Council of Contemporary Design in 2007, was named Dealerscope Marketing Executive of the Year in 1997, and won the D.D.I. Prestige Marketing Award in 1998.
